The Sydney Zombie Walk is a FREE public event where thousands of people dress as zombies and roam Sydney's streets. The zombies will limping through the city, from Belmore Park (opposite Central Station)up Pitt Street, then turning around and coming back along Castlereagh Street.

*** SUMMARY ***
• Register in advance - www.szw.com.au/register
• Meet at Belmore Park from 12:00pm
• Costumes & make-up will be available to purchase in the park
• You must arrive before 3:00pm in order to receive your wristband
• The walk commences at 4:00pm sharp
• A map of the route is available at www.szw.com.au
• We finish at 5:00pm back at Belmore Park

• Zombies under 16 years old are not required to register, but must be accompanied by a registered adult

• NO GUNS ARE ALLOWED - this includes water pistols & NERF guns

• Arrive from 12:00pm at the starting point
• You must arrive by 3:00pm to participate

• All streets along the route will be blocked off for us

A walk for everyone dressed as zombies. A FREE, family friendly event but we do ask every attendee to bring a donation, monetary or non perishable food item to donate to Foodbank SA who will be located in the rotunda.
This is an event with plenty to do in the park in the lead up to the walk including best dressed competitions, face painters, free kidz zone, DJ Majick, market stalls, food vans, photo booth, plai, Nova bus etc. You MUST purchase an AZW/Foodbank wristband to enter the Best Dressed competition which you can purchase on the day or at any SAVERS store for $10 prior to the walk. These wristbands give you discount at the store at the time of purchase and many other perks including food van specials, free entry to the blood splatter tent, after walk drink specials and the list goes on! All wristband specials can be found on our website or in the "notes" section on our Facebook page.

Park activities begin at 3pm.
Best dressed competitions begin at 5pm.
The AZW walk will begin at 7pm.

We return back in the park for the FREE SAVERS After Party hosted by DJ Josh.

Featuring: Sabbaths Disciples, SAUL, MurderHouse, Diary of Ozz & School of Rock Omaha

Plus costume contests for Best Male Zombie, Best Female Zombie, and Best Duo or Group Zombies 
($10 to compete in costume contests)

ALL money earned goes to the Siena/Francis House Homeless Shelter, so please come out, attend the Zombie Ball, and donate to a great cause!!!

Each year we host the Cape Town Zombie Walk / Fest and take over the streets of Cape Town. Cape Town Zombie Fest is an all ages event making it fun for the entire family and is the only pet friendly event of its kind. We help raise funds for local charities like the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected animals and will continue to do so. 

We need 9500 zombies to apply for & Set a Guinness World Record.

Don't miss Zombie Walk this year!!! It will be bigger and better than ever!!!! Not only will Zombie Walk be happening on Main Street but it will also be in the New Downtown Civic Plaza!!!! Get your Zombie costumes ready!!! The Beaux Peep Show will be the featured band and there will be dance performances by HD2 and Alma de Arte. There will be food trucks, vendors, live music, and zombies everywhere!!!!! This year, we will have self registration tables to get registered for the walk. There is NO fee to register and there is NO theme this year. Your costume can be anything Zombie. There will be prizes given out for: Best Zombie Group, Best Adult Costume, and Best Youth Costume. The Zombie parade will begin on Main Street near Coas Bookstore and will travel up to Griggs Ave, and up onto the stage of the new plaza for judging. Everyone gets a moment on the stage to shine in all of their Zombie glory!!! This is the Zombie event of the year, so we hope to see you there!!
