Collaborations between different franchises and Magic: The Gathering continue to take place. After releases such as those with Junji Ito, Miku Hatsune, and the manga based on the game published by Panini Manga, last November a new Magic: The Gathering collection was released in collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender.
For those who are already familiar with Avatar, it is a franchise in which the elements—air, water, earth, and fire—play a very important role. This has been very effectively translated into the game by using the colors of magic: white, red, blue, green, and black. Each of the Avatar elements has been associated with one of the colors of magic in the game, leaving black aside as a representation of corruption and evil.
