Capcom has announced that both Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, the first two installments of this beloved action and horror saga with dinosaurs that debuted on the original PlayStation, are now available on Steam.

These PC versions arrived a few months ago on GOG with a good amount of improvements that adapted both classics to the needs of today's computers, such as new rendering options, graphical improvements, bug fixes (including one that could corrupt our save in the first game), and full compatibility with modern controllers. All these improvements are also present in the Steam versions.

In case you're interested in playing them on Steam Deck, the compatibility status of both games with this console-PC hybrid is currently "unknown."

Dino Crisis was a classic survival horror originally from the first PlayStation that closely followed the Resident Evil formula, but replaced the mutant monsters of that saga with dinosaurs. It offered much more complex puzzles, and the story delved into science fiction. Additionally, at certain points, we had to make decisions.

Collaborations between different franchises and Magic: The Gathering continue to take place. After releases such as those with Junji Ito, Miku Hatsune, and the manga based on the game published by Panini Manga, last November a new Magic: The Gathering collection was released in collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender.

For those who are already familiar with Avatar, it is a franchise in which the elements—air, water, earth, and fire—play a very important role. This has been very effectively translated into the game by using the colors of magic: white, red, blue, green, and black. Each of the Avatar elements has been associated with one of the colors of magic in the game, leaving black aside as a representation of corruption and evil.

Last Thursday marked the launch of a new website to announce that the novels *Tsuihō Sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimamana Second Life o Ōka Suru* will receive an adaptation as an animated series. For now, not many additional details about the project based on Asa Rokushima’s work have been revealed, except that the studio behind it is P.A. Works. Additionally, a small teaser was also presented, showing the first promotional image of the anime, which can also be seen below.

Likewise, Asa Rokushima made a comment on the occasion of the announcement in which they literally said the following: “I’m delighted that *Chi-Fuyo* is getting an anime adaptation. Congratulations to Gyomuyoumochi! I always eagerly look forward to each new chapter of the manga, and I’m excited to see Rein and the others come to life on screen. I truly hope this anime helps *Chi-Fuyo* reach both longtime readers and new fans. Once again, congratulations to everyone who made *Chi-Fuyo* a reality.”

During the Nintendo Direct held on February 5, Nihon Falcom announced Kyoto Xanadu, a new action RPG that will arrive in summer 2026 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Additionally, a new trailer has been shared, introducing the protagonists and showcasing the combat style and other game mechanics.

The story revolves around Rei Kamiya, who has stolen a large sum of money from the yakuza, but while escaping, he is absorbed by a portal that takes him to an alternate world where Japan's capital is Kyoto. In this new place, Rei awakens a power that creates two katanas and allows him to face creatures called Greed. After confronting these creatures, he is taken in by a mysterious masked woman, who proposes that he transfer to Hirasaka Academy. This is a special center only for the so-called Chosen. In this reality, Rei will have to face creatures and puzzles that emerge from a labyrinth known as Xanadu.

The Xanadu series is one of Nihon Falcom's oldest franchises. The first title in the saga was released in 1985 for the PC-88. In 2015, the company decided to revitalize the series with Tokyo Xanadu, setting the scenes in a more modern and urban Japan; additionally, social and school life elements were added. The latest title in the franchise was released in 2017 under the name Tokyo Xanadu eX+, which is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

There was a time, before mass streaming, when a single girl with a yellow ribbon in her hair ruled the otaku world uncontested. However, the spectacular downfall of Haruhi Suzumiya is a brutal reminder that in this industry no one has a guaranteed throne. What in 2006 was a cultural phenomenon capable of surpassing giants like Dragon Ball and Naruto in popularity polls is today a franchise struggling not to be just a footnote in anime history.

Kyoto Animation’s adaptation not only gave us the legendary “Hare Hare Yukai” dance, but it defined the identity of the 2000s. But how did it go from being the undisputed “Goddess” to disappearing off the map for more than a decade? The answer is a mix of disastrous creative decisions and a community that did not forgive.

“The Endless August” and the public shaming of Aya Hirano

The first nail in the coffin was, ironically, overblown ambition. The second season brought with it the infamous “Endless August” arc (Endless Eight). The idea was to portray a two-week time loop repeated more than 15,000 times. The result? KyoAni animated and aired the same episode eight times in a row with minimal changes.

What was meant to be an immersive experience felt like the biggest “troll” in history, infuriating fans who were expecting new content. On top of that came a “stealth” broadcast that mixed old and new episodes without warning, confusing casual viewers.

But the coup de grâce came from the real world:

The Aya Hirano scandal: In 2011, the voice of Haruhi (and a superstar at the time) faced massive public shaming after details of her sexual and romantic life were revealed.

Toxic reaction: Fans, unable to separate the actress from the character, burned merchandise and boycotted the franchise, forcing Hirano to temporarily withdraw from the public eye.

The Epic Games multiverse is about to become much more “stellar.” In a move that brings together two of the biggest titans in today’s industry, HoYoverse has confirmed that its hit space-fantasy RPG, Honkai: Star Rail, will cross paths with Fortnite. This is no minor collaboration. The legendary Stellaron Hunters, Kafka and Blade, will step away from chasing destiny aboard the Astral Express to leap from the Battle Bus instead. Starting on February 26, 2026, players will be able to experience the lethal elegance of these characters in an environment where firearms and building rule the game.

The Stellaron Hunters Take Control

Kafka and Blade from Honkai: Star Rail will be landing in Fortnite very soon

The authority of this collaboration lies in the narrative importance of the chosen characters. Kafka and Blade are not just additional “skins”; they represent one of the most mysterious and beloved factions in Honkai: Star Rail.

Kafka is a woman who knows no fear, whose unsettling calm and mastery of weapons make her a perfect addition to the intensity of Fortnite. Blade, meanwhile, is an immortal swordsman whose constant regeneration and pain-forged past promise to deliver a visually striking style—especially with his signature crimson bandages.

Both outfits have been recreated with meticulous respect for HoYoverse’s original art style, ensuring a flawless transition into Epic’s engine.

More Than Just Skins
Honkai: Star Rail confirms new and incredible characters for version 1.2

From a user-experience perspective, this collaboration aims to integrate both universes in a deep way, offering content across multiple game modes within the Fortnite platform.

How to get Blade for free?

To ensure the reliability of your progress in this event, it’s vital to pay close attention to the launch conditions on February 26. Epic Games and HoYoverse have prepared a special incentive for new players.

1.- Item Shop: Both characters will be available for direct purchase.

2.-Special Reward: Eligible players who download Honkai: Star Rail from the Epic Games Store and complete specific in-game events will be able to obtain Blade’s outfit in Fortnite as a reward.

3.- Official Sources: It is recommended to follow @HonkaiStarRail and keep an eye on Epic Games News for the technical details of the download promotion.

The arrival of Honkai: Star Rail in Fortnite marks a milestone in HoYoverse collaborations, as it is the first time its modern anime-style characters enter direct competition in the world’s largest battle royale.

This is a masterstroke by both companies. Kafka is essentially the “poster” character of sophistication in gacha games, and seeing her build a wooden tower while firing a SCAR will be iconic, to say the least. The smartest move here is the integration with LEGO® Fortnite and the offer to obtain Blade through the Epic Games Store; it’s the perfect bridge for shooter fans to try turn-based combat, and vice versa. Get ready—because on February 26, the island is going to shine in its own right.

According to the latest leaks, MAPPA is already working on Season 2 of 'Chainsaw Man.' The anime will return after the film adaptation of the Reze arc.

After releasing 'Chainsaw Man – The Compilation Part I and Part II' on streaming to prepare audiences for the release of the Reze arc in theaters, Denji's demonic adventure continues to shape the next season of the anime. While it's true that MAPPA has taken its time to give signs of life regarding the future of 'Chainsaw Man', the company seems to have a very clear roadmap to follow to continue with this ambitious adaptation that swept the public away back in 2022, when we saw the first season.

'Chainsaw Man - The Movie: The Reze Arc' will hit theaters in Spain on October 31 and will introduce changes from the source material to improve its chances of box office success. "There are very strict rules for film ratings. We want as many people as possible to see it, but there are some things we had to adjust to make that happen," Otsuka commented. We'll see if these modifications, applied to the gore and sexual scenes, affect the reviews.

The sad news was first reported by Yahoo! Japan, who revealed that the mare died at Martha Farm, the stable located in Onjuku, Chiba, where she had lived since 2013, surrounded by the staff who cared for her until the end. The cause of death was equine colic, a condition that occurs when gas accumulates in the intestines due to poor digestion.

Born on February 27, 1996, in Hokkaido, Haru Urara—whose name means "Glorious Spring" or "Gentle Spring"—was a daughter of Nippo Teio, a top-class horse and winner of the Tenno Sho and Yasuda Kinen. However, despite her distinguished lineage, she never managed to cross the finish line in first place during her entire professional career.

Her debut took place on November 17, 1998, at the Kochi Racecourse, where she finished fifth and last among five runners. For the next four and a half years, she competed once or twice a month without a single victory, accumulating a record that would make her immortal: 113 consecutive losses.

The Japanese dubbed her "the shining star of all losers" (makegumi no hoshi), admiring her unbreakable spirit to continue racing with all her heart despite her seemingly endless losing streak. This phenomenon was dubbed "The Haru Urara Boom" and transcended Japanese borders, being reported in the United States, Canada, Germany, and other countries.

The peak of her fame came on March 22, 2004, when more than 13,000 spectators packed the Kochi racecourse. Three thousand people gathered before the gates even opened, forcing the facility to open 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. Fans bet a total of 121,751,200 yen on a Haru Urara victory, an impressive sum for a horse that hadn't won even once in over 100 attempts.

After officially retiring in August 2004 with a record of 0 wins and 113 losses, Haru Urara found a second life in 2021 when she became one of the characters in the popular anime and video game "Umamusume: Pretty Derby." Her anthropomorphized "horse girl" version introduced her story to a new generation of fans.

The game's global release in June 2025 sparked a renewed wave of affection for the royal mare. International fans began donating funds en masse through "Fresh Hay Bank," a crowdfunding website that allowed fresh grass to be sent to retired horses. Donations were so plentiful that the website crashed when more than 2,500 kilograms of rye grass were sent to Haru Urara.

Haru Urara's caretaker during her final years fondly remembered the mare's stubborn personality until the very end. "Even in her final moments, she maintained her stubborn character," Miyahara recounted through tears. "When we tried to get her to walk to relieve the colic, Haru Urara would simply stop as if to say, 'No, I don't want to walk.' But it is precisely because of that unique character that we have so many beautiful memories with her. I am filled with gratitude toward Haru Urara."

To avoid any suspicion of profiting from the mare's fame, Miyahara had strictly limited the membership of the "Haru Urara Association" to just 50 people. "We were very clear that we never wanted people to think we were getting rich off Haru Urara. The current membership fees are more than enough to take proper care of her," she explained.

Haru Urara's story transcends sports to become a lesson in the beauty of perseverance, dignity in defeat, and the power of touching hearts without needing to win. In a world obsessed with success, she proved that sometimes the most valuable thing is simply never giving up.

The website was released where it is confirmed that Komi Can't Communicate, Manga by Tomohito Oda, will receive an anime adaptation that is scheduled to premiere in October of this year, 2021!

Additionally, three cast members (and their character designs), the main technical team, a promo video, and a poster for the series were revealed.

Kuon

Long before the acclaimed "Souls" franchise, which brought FromSoftware worldwide recognition, it already had fantastic titles that distinguished itself from other games on the market. One of them is a forgotten pearl from the PlayStation 2, overshadowed by the release of Resident Evil 4 at the time. A Survival Horror title that was heavily criticized at the time for its slightly slow pace, excessive recoil, and heavy controls when it comes to movement and character combat. However, if all these details are not a problem for you, dear readers, we guarantee that you will find a phenomenal experience at: Kuon.

Kuon bases his narrative on well-known ancient horror tales like Kaidan. This is a game with a macabre and dark story and some chilling moments. The same thing happens during the Heian period, where the player controls three different characters who eventually cross paths while exploring the Fujiwara mansion, in which the game takes place. Mysterious creatures of evil rituals roam the site and will be the biggest challenge for anyone who has the courage to venture out to test the game.

 Corpse Party

Although not the scariest game on this list, Corpse Party can be considered a classic in Japanese horror games. It was originally released in 1996 and subsequently received a new version for various platforms.

Corpse Party presents several puzzles and mysteries to solve with a huge probability of taking a wrong step and being killed by the spirits of the Heavenly Lost school. Each chapter of the game also has several possible endings, offering the player a rich variety of exploration possibilities.

Deadly Premonition

What happens when you mix horror and comedy in a game with such poor mechanics that it even seems to have a purpose? They end up having one of the dumbest and most original horror games ever.

Deadly Premonition is a horror game in which an FBI agent travels to a city in search of a serial killer. The gameplay is pretty bad, but the story makes up for it by being incredibly good and fun, full of old movie references and cliché moments to enjoy at the right time.

A classic for several reasons, Deadly Premonition should be recommended to anyone looking for a different experience than what they expected.

 Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

If you are looking for something different than what you are playing, Curse of the Moon is ideal for this moment! A clear homage to the classic NES Castlevania games, more specifically Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, with a dark theme full of demons and vampires, clunky controls, great pixel art, frenetic music, high difficulty and much more.

Please note that the game is extremely short.
