Crunchyroll announces the arrival of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: The Reze Arc to its platform in spring, with a date yet to be confirmed. This highly anticipated continuation of the television series, based on the work of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, was released in theaters in our country on October 24, 2025.
Last Thursday marked the launch of a new website to announce that the novels *Tsuihō Sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimamana Second Life o Ōka Suru* will receive an adaptation as an animated series. For now, not many additional details about the project based on Asa Rokushima’s work have been revealed, except that the studio behind it is P.A. Works. The first season of Shin Chūka Ichiba (True Cooking Master Boy) debuted in Japan in October 2019, with 12 episodes.
Synopsis:
The manga takes place during fictional China in the 19th century, where chefs from across the country compete in culinary tests of skill, and being a master chef confers respect and authority. The story centers on Liu Mao Xing, a young chef from Szechuan province who learns to cook from his mother. After saving the restaurant from his mother, Mao embarks on a journey to become a Super Chef, battling other chefs with other styles of cooking along the way and battling the conspiracies of the Dark Cooking Society.
