The website was released where it is confirmed that Komi Can't Communicate, Manga by Tomohito Oda, will receive an anime adaptation that is scheduled to premiere in October of this year, 2021!

Additionally, three cast members (and their character designs), the main technical team, a promo video, and a poster for the series were revealed.

Sinopsis:

According to a report by Korean media outlet YTN, Studio Dragon is partnering with Sung Yong-il, director of the 2019 school thriller Class of Lies, for the drama adaptation of Duty After School, a popular manhwa (Korean comic) written by Ha. Il-kwon which was serialized on Naver Webtoon in 2012. Screenwriter Lee Nam-kyu, who wrote the script for the 2019 melodrama The Light in Your Eyes, has also joined the production.

Duty After School is a sci-fi suspense story that follows the seemingly inevitable apocalypse of the world when mysterious purple orbs appear from the sky and create chaos everywhere. The first season of Shin Chūka Ichiba (True Cooking Master Boy) debuted in Japan in October 2019, with 12 episodes.

Synopsis:

The manga takes place during fictional China in the 19th century, where chefs from across the country compete in culinary tests of skill, and being a master chef confers respect and authority. The story centers on Liu Mao Xing, a young chef from Szechuan province who learns to cook from his mother. After saving the restaurant from his mother, Mao embarks on a journey to become a Super Chef, battling other chefs with other styles of cooking along the way and battling the conspiracies of the Dark Cooking Society.
